Work is a part of life. More for some than for others. My father-in-law John frequently said, “Work makes life sweet,” and I find that true for me, even if it’s not for everyone. From a classic Aesop fable, I always envision myself as the ant, and others I know are more like the grasshopper. A former classmate's life mantra is “Life’s too short for a full time job.” My work is one of the great joys in life. I often wish I had more time to work, more time to create, more time to invent. 

            

And like us all, I wish I had more time on the motorcycle, more time on the beach, more time traveling. So much to do. So little time. So many ideas to have, so many products to envision, so many prototypes to build, so many experiments to try, so many discoveries to make, so many people to meet, stories to hear, joys and sadnesses to experience, and leather to turn into to finished goods.
 

Gosh, I wish I had more time.
